As a bilingual bicultural Syrian American artist, I like to create universal and diverse artwork. Generally, I like to represent and work with cheerful and positive topics. But recently, it has been a challenge to inject my artwork with esthetics that represent my style, while ignoring the ugly war in my home country. Nevertheless, my life experiences in both home lands enrich my artwork with unique prospective on people, life, and beauty. Even when I am communicating a political charged idea, I always force myself to focus on the bright side and keep in my mind that there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. Using the artistic tools I have as a graphic designer, my goal is to create a balance between the challenging topics and the beautiful presentation. I want my work to be simple yet powerful and deliver my message clearly.
